Crazy Bay Area weather...

Well today I pulled into the same parking lot I had the coyote encounter with a little while back. I was hoping to capture some lightning shots. As soon as I started to get set up it totally started hailing like crazy. The temp dropped to about 36* according to the on board temp monitor. I decided it was NOT safe to drive and I just hung out for a while. When I did start to drive I couldn't believe how much slush was on the roads after about 30mins of waiting for the roads to clear up. I managed to take some pics and I thought I would share. Enjoy

Actually being the first person to drive on this road was interesting I barely made up the steep hill with these tires.

holy smokes...I thought there was something wrong with the weather reports around here. I thought I heard thunder..and it suddenly got dang cold. Forecast calls for rain/snow too.

Yeah I even heard that there was snow near Piegon Pass on Highway 1 The later pics are after I sat in my work vehicle for about 30 mins after it stopped hailing.

Looks like Sklyine is covered in snow as well. From what I understand we got snow down to 1500 ft
