Table Top Tripod - Recommendations Required

Hi,

I have a Nikon D80 DSLR and I wanted to know of any recommendations for table top tripods. I brought one from Jessops (UK) which was pretty appalling. I am not looking to spend too much on this, although i would if i could be convinced otherwise. I would appreciate the features i may need to consider before making a choice.

I do not have a table top tripod, though I would like to get one eventually. Most of the one's I've seen have been pretty flimsy. Look for one that is solid, (not necessarily heavy), and that the legs will be solid when you set them. Basically, you want the same things in a table top tripod that you want in a full size one. Maybe someone else can give you specific brand/model recommendations. In the meantime, I would advise you to try to actually handle one before you buy it.
