Ashes cricket from a pros perspective

My first post here following on from australias clean sweep of the Ashes today.

I found this an interesting little grab on life as a photographer at the Ashes.

    Thanks!

Thanks for posting that link. I know nothing about cricket. But the photos are great, regardless of my lack of knowledge. And it was really interesting to hear the thought process behind the photographers' positioning and photo setup. That was really good.

That was an interesting series. Theo ne in the office reminded me of the AP office at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the crazyness that goes on there after the race with 60+
photogs trying to get something done.

I found that very interesting, thanks for posting it.
Hearing where they positioned themselves, and why, and a bit about their equipment was good.

Working as a group, capturing different parts of the action, seems the only way to properly cover some sports. I'm thinking about getting a team of 3 together for GT racing at Donnington and Brands this year - if I can persuade my friends to join me.

End of the year, I'll be driving Spa Francorchamps again.
    Passenger seat is still empty
