I took this a few days ago, one of my friends doing a Fronside Flip down a five stair in Waukegan, IL.

i like the picture. I like how you captured him at his highest point. The only thing thats buggin me is the over exposed lighting on the lower left corner. Did he land it or eat S***. I tried taking pictures of my friend skating, i kinda suck at it, i need more practice. good shot.

Interesting shot. I think I'd lop off some of the right side of the picture. Make it a little tighter.

I agree with John, I'd crop the whole shot much tighter.
You've got the action, and a lot of background.
As a record photo of this is where we were and what we did, it's good.

But crop it closer, and if you'd not had that bright sunlight catching the steps on the left, I think it could be a lot more effective as an action photograph.

I agree with you two about the light on the strairs IDK about how I would fix it thought, and also he didn't land it that particular time, but it was landed 4th try I believe. Oh and as for the cropping I prefer to stay with the 4x6 picture size so I don't see how much more I could crop it.

cropping vertically tight helps to make the skater look like he's higher in the air.

You can't cut off stairss or the skater though.
