    Freshmen Football

My son is trying out for his schools freshmen football team and I've been going to some of the practices to get some shots and be seen. I'm trying to work it out so I can be on the field during their games, which will be at 3pm. Any hoot, here are a few pictures from their first day with full gear.

    Just a little receiver action.

    Re: Freshmen Football

It only let me post the four pictures and I wanted to share a few more. One more receiver and the other two are my son. I wanted to go with defense but was later changed to starting offense, left guard. Either way I'm proud of him.

Great way to get the timing down Jim. I will sometimes shoot the receiver drills before a game just to hone the timing before a game. I think we need to get physically and mentally ready before a game just like the players. You have some nice shots here. Even though this is practice they appear to be dressed out. these type of shots will sell for me. Parents for the most part just want a good image of their kid. That it was a picture taken during practice many times will not matter to them. I sure don't envy you trying to get interior linemen shots all year. They can be a real bear. Good luck with that and be sure and share your results with us. I'll be looking forward to them.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks Old Timer and JS. For me right now I just want to capture some nice shots of my son playing and maybe grab a few quality action shots in the process.

Great shots! My son is starting o-line and was just moved from tackle to guard. You'll get great shots of them running the ball behind your son. I know my boy makes the best wall.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.
