My wife won't even look at my pictures, let alone buy me a camera.

I'll bet she wasn't even there to receive the package that she didn't order when FedEx didn't come.

Or maybe Speed doens't really have a wife. Those pics look a little photoshopped to me...

Just kiddin' you Speed...I gave a list of things I wanted to my girlfriend, and she laughed. I told her when we get married I want 1)an english bulldog, 2) a minolta 7D with vertical grip, and 3)a fridge full of Guinness. She laughed....

    Poor Baby!

Sorry, I didn't mean to start anything.

Maybe you should show her my post that my wife did buy me a D200.

Then offer to sell your D70 to help offset the cost.

Wive's dig that sort of thing.

    ;-)

(Of course you'll keep your D50 as a backup.)

    Hey John,

My girlfriend won't look at my photos either. Her way of being supportive is to encourage me to spend money. Every time I mention that I want a new toy, no matter how ridiculous it is, she just says, "I think you should do it." I suppose that would stop if we got married.

I gave my wife a list of camera gear I wanted to revive my photog hobby. It was close to $3000. SHE SAID YES!

    I didn't believe her....I think it's a trick.

I did buy the 30D but I still think I'm being tested!

This coming from the girl side.......although I am the photographer, to get what I want, I use blackmail........sort of!

My husband has a motorcycle....and with his motorcycle, he needed a helmet and leather jacket and chaps, etc. For everything he buys......I get to buy something of equal cost!
It works well. Except he is being cheap and not buying anything lately!! LOL

That's what we do in Vegas.....I get to play poker and she gets to spend at the shopping outlets of equal value. But when I start to lose, I call her on the cell and tell her to slow down! LOL
