    Little Guy Baseball

Here are a few frames from my nephew Little League (9-10 yr olds) last night. The little guys are a lot of fun.

OT, they are all great! I love how the the catcher and base runner at looking at the ump's call on home plate. He looks like a pretty exuberant umpire. I like that.

The colors in your pictures are gorgeous! One of my friend's is waiting for her new Nikon slr to arrive. I keep telling her about the great Nikon shooter on my sports photography board. Any guess who I'm talking about?

JETA so good to hear from you. How come I'm not seeing any image from you? Glad you like these little guy pics. I love to watch them, the game is still so much fun for them. Their expressions and reactions are so much fun and so genuine. Hope your friend likes her new camera and decides to join in the fun here on PR. Not a better place on the net to learn and have a good time with other that have similar interest.

    Thanks OT!

I have a few pics to share. Actually of some little ones too. It's a 1st-2nd grade t-ball team. You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the genuine reactions. It's priceless to say the least.

I'm going to keep gently persuading her to start posting once her camera arrives. She's so excited. That's nothing like getting your first digital slr.

The kid sliding into home is my nephew. He's very serious about his baseball. I had 4 or 5 shots on the slide at home but this was the one that really told the story I was after. Those expressions say it all.

I'm lovin' em, OT. I like the timing on the first one and how you capture the faces on the other three.

As usual nice job OT. I'm glad you can shoot the little kids, for some reason I just can't get into the little ones, I think it's due to the speed, it's like slow motion for me, and it really screws up my timing too!

HA!!! Maybe that's why I like it, I'm old and my reflexes and timing are perfect for it. I kind of operate in slow motion anyway.
