    Men's Basketball...and it was a nail-bitter....

This was probably the most exciting Men's basketball game that I have seen in a long time. Marian College (my school) faced off against Clarke College from Iowa. Going into the half, my college's team was down by about 15, and it didn't seem like they had much of a chance to come back, let alone win.

With a minute left in the game, they had taken a very narrow lead. A foul took one of our leading players out of the game with less than a minute, and the opponents (in yellow), were able to tie the game and force it into OT.

    5. This shot is the foul that tied up the game at the end with 40 seconds left, giving the Marian player his fifth and final foul.

    6. With less than 7 seconds to go, Clarke fouled a Marian player with the game tied, sending him to the line.

Oh...I forgot to tell you the final. Marian won....86-80.

It helps the opposition were n yellow, the colour really makes an impact.
    You've got some good action shots there, I particularly like 1, 3, 4, 5, & 7.
Is this another mixed lighting hall?
#6 has a totally different colour balance from all the others.
It's great editorial shot with the scores behind.

they look good. Some have the obvious boosted exposure, such as the first one. I really like the close-up shot. you're a little blue on #6.

    SW -

The lighting in the hall is all flourescent, and I used the flourescent WB setting on my camera. I don't think I did a very good job in PP, so I went back and re-did it.

    Livin,

I didn't really do any exposure boosting. I had to do some levels adjustments, and I added contrast, but that is about it.

#6 did have a blue cast, but I fixed that and replaced the image.

Very nice job. Love #'s 3,4&5. I also love a place that great white wall with lots of reflected light.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

A nail biter is RIGHT! Masdog all of your pics are wonderful. The pic of the foul is amazing!

Sheesh, when I got to the end of it all I was bewildered! I wanted to know who won. I need to scroll down.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

#3 would be the only one I see as a real eye grabber, not that the others are bad, it just stands above the rest.
