    Winter - what's happening?

Do we have any members out there in the snow?

    Ski Jumping
    Snowboarding
    Ice Skating
    Luge, Skeleton, Bobsleigh
Curling (does anybody do this outdoors any more?)

We've certainly had very little of it in the UK.

So it's been a warm winter in the USA too?
Here we had almost no snow.
Three or four inches and the country comes to a standstill though, so we don't need much

I think we had about 8" of snow on the ground before Christmas, then it warmed up and started to rain. After about a week of above freezing temps, and rain and drizzle, it's all pretty much gone. To everyones suprise, the ground isn't even frozen in the southern part of the state. I've been taking a little 3 legged stool with me to sit on while shooting, and it always sinks into the ground. Not what I was expecting in January. The sun peaked out for a few minutes yesterday, the first time in 2 weeks. Been a pretty depressing year so far, weather wise.
