    Thats pretty much the way the AP runs the photos from the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400. They have runners in the pits, all four corners and other locations who pick up cards from 60 photographers. SI uses AP photos from Indy 500 but also has some of their own shooters there. The AP has a permanent office along with the Indianapolis Star at the track.
    The AP specifies that photos be shot at pecific ISO (800) and be JPG medium on a 1D as they electronicly transmit everything on a T1 line. THey want SRGB not RGB, and I onder if SI has switched to SRGB yet as it's a better color space on the newer cameras.
