    Park CIty pics

It's been a pretty slow summer for me, photography wise....Tell me if you like either of these. Maybe the one of the rocks is a bit dull? I was trying to show the rocks as sort of having the same pattern as the clouds, but maybe I didn't pull it off too well...The other one, I thought my sister helped add depth as a subject to a scene that could've been unremarkable in a compositional sense.

I don't know how to put this, but...I'm kind of a big deal...People know me.

Hey, Long time no see! (I haven't been especially proficient this summer either).

Are these digitally merged images? They are so well exposed from the the very foreground to the very background. If you did merged them, you were very succesful doing so. If not, the lighting was especially gorgeous.

I think that you were right to add your sister to the second photograph. In the first picture, the rocks in the foreground kinda act like the subject due to their placement. On the second picture however, there wouldn't be a defined subject without your sister. I guess that it would still be an interesting picture due to the quality of the light but the end result would be weaker.

Out of the two, I'll pick your second picture. The sky is quite amazing.

    ciao

    Hey, I missed ya Seb...

Yeah, I did merge these, but each from the same photo, just with different RAW settings. I actually don't like the one of the rocks that much, but thought it was sort of okay. I really like the one with my sister, but maybe that's biased because I love my sis....

    Howdy,

When I said digitally merged, I did meant different exposures from the same photo.
This is something that I only test tried once with rather poor result but you truly nailed it with these. The result is great.

Oh yeah, a good friend of mine gave me a Rufus Griffin action figure with the guitar and the vinyl for my new appartment. I got to shoot it and send you a picture. You will love it
