That is a wonderful picture. The boat is very clear, did you use a tripod?

Thanks, Chris. Nope, didn't use a tripod here. The IS on the lens worked very well.

Re: Northwest Travel
Mahesh,
Great as always, and love those mountains in the background. Is it just me, or is the horizon a little off? I'm just noticing this with the horizon on the right hand side of the frame....is it just me?!

Re: Northwest Travel
Another great photo Your images bring back memories of how beautiful it is up there. I spent a year and change flying in and out of Seattle (one weekend a month) for part of my early orthodontic training. I never really got the chance to do any photography since the course was 9 hours a day and all I had time to do was eat, sleep, study, and try to keep up with the class, then catch a plane back home. I did spend a week on Whidbey Island with my family visiting my wife's best friend from med school and their family. A lot of that week was spent catching the ferry from Whidbey to Seattle while my family visited with our friends and I went to my ortho classes. It is absolutely gorgeous up there in the Pacific northwest. You are so lucky to live there.

Re: Northwest Travel
I have enjoyed your scenics.
I think this is the best one so far.
You did a great job with the composition, with the ship heading into the frame and almost towards the mountain.
The light is good too!
Welcome to PR.com by the way!

Re: Northwest Travel
Great lighting on the Ferry and highlighting the mountains in the distance. A great catch.
