High School Soccer (Girls) (a little image heavy oops)

They finished 3rd at State, but I ended up missing the state tournament games because they started at 10 am and I couldn't get down there that early and beat the morning rush hour traffic...

I started the season with the 70-300...

The Sigma 70-200 made me shoot better.. not having the extra 100 I wasn't reaching for stuff I shouldn't be shooting...

Lots of sun for the soccer season so this one's a bit blown out.. but when Friday came it seemed to always be raining this football season...

A couple from the section final against their biggest rival, yet best friends as the high school girls hockey team is a co-op with them. Same team as in #5 above. I messed up and grabbed AAA Energizer Lithiums at Wal-Mart before the game, and the second half was in after sundown.

Last one.. maybe I have too many pictures posted.. my bad if so!

If you haven't been to Duluth, MN or if you get there you need to see some of the sunsets that you can get from this football stadium.. the sun sets over the hill we go down to get TO Duluth and especially in the Fall, you get really spectacular colors

I just noticed.. my horizons on grass fields are off a bit from the shape of the fields.. noticed because the turf for the section final made them look even more off-level.

Boy white uniforms and bright sun can be a brutal exposure combination. But it is still better than all black on a poorly lighted football field like my home team wears. I really love those twilight shoots. Soccer is a fun sport to shoot, I wish our local teams were more competitive, It would make it a little more exciting.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I would have shared boys soccer pictures but our boys team got stunned in the first round, being brought to penalty kicks and their season ending that way. I *HATE* penalty kicks to end soccer playoff games, and I'm not even a huge soccer fan, only watch to shoot now.
