Olympus' developers are doing an experiment in "moulded wood"...

This wood-bodied prototype digital camera would be unique in a field of look-alike compacts. The body is made of "moulded wood" meaning there is no sanding or cutting done to the body. It is moulded by engineers into the shape it is in now! Because the wood grain of each camera would be different from every other camera made, each owner would be guaranteed to own a totally unique camera. This uniqueness would come at a cost however - if made, the wood camera would retail at around $1000.
