Post Tool to remove EXIF tag

    Hi,
Could you please share some information on the tools that we can use to remove EXIF tag from batch of images?

    Thanks.

Any good photo editor should do that.
I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CS2, both have options to remove EXIF data.

Why do you want to remove it?

Re: Tool to remove EXIF tag

I use a freebie named Exif Cleaner by SuperUtils. The trail version has some limitations like # of images you can process at a time.

What I like about it is you can select specific EXIF data to remove. In my case, I just like removing the embedded thumbnail image because it is of the original photo and does not reflect any post processing edits or effects, like crops, rotations, cleanup or even major surgery (I wish I could find an app that would write a new thumbnail based on the edit, but I haven't seen any app - Photoshop included - that does this.

Btw, tried to buy the full version of it but had a problem: they insist on your providing your telephone number and calling you to buy it. I got into a dispute with someone there about about via email telling them the PayPal was all they should need. In the end the transaction was Nixed, so I'm stuck with the trial version.

GB1, I stick with Exifcleaner, too. I've tried it when it was a giveaway, and then purchased the licensed copy. So why don't you contact the superutils staff if you had troubles with registering? I found these guys very friendly - I've asked for additional features, and some of them are already implemented.
