Hi, I am brand new in here, and to get started would like to know if anybody can recommend some free software that would enable me to make my fish look larger and my mates fish to look like tiddlers.

I've heard good things about the capabilities of an application called Gimp ( http://www.gimp.org/). From what I understand, It's one of the most powerful freeware apps out there, though the learning curve is nearly as steep as Photoshop's.
