    Setting up workspace problem...

    Below is a screen shot of CS4. I know this is a dumb question, but I'm so tired with fumbling around with this. I'd only like about an inch across (not 3 inches) over on the left. See how my document goes under my layers? Drives me crazy. I put the ruler up so you can see the extra inches over on the right that I do not want. Can someone tell me how to fix this. I'd like maybe an inch or so, but would like to be able to change it as I need it and obviously I'm not smart enough to figure it out. Grrrrr....
    P.S. I do not want to make the doc smaller or change the size of my layers menu. I know how to do that. I just want to get rid of the free space over on the left.
