Question Putting Texture Back into Skin

I'm just starting to use Portrait Professional.
I smoothed out the skin too much and now I need to add texture back to the model's face.
But I can't seem to find how to do that in this program.
    Can anyone please help me?
    Thanx!

    Eyelene-
I haven't used Portrait Professional so I can't speak to the specifics of that program. Did you save your edited photo as a copy or did you apply the changes to the original file? If you made the changes to the original file then you probably can't go back - unless you saved the changes as a layer.

I don't use Portait Professional but basically you want to add Noise to the image on the skin parts, just enough for it to be barely visible. Just about any photo editing software has noise. Lightroom allows you to add it with a brush.

The 'Remove Pores', 'Skin Smoothing' and 'Texture' sliders in the "Skin Controls" drop-down box all affect skin texture. It's basically playing with the sliders until you're happy.

I don't believe there's any way to go backwards here Eyelene, unless you have the original file. If you don't I guess you will have to chalk it up to experience and always save the file as a copy (Actually, PP does this by default, so double check your directory for the original!).

As far as reversing your edits, PP does have a wand that allows you to undo edited areas while processing the image. It's next to the control to do individual (wand) edits, rather than the sliders on the right that affect everything.
