PS Elements - Crop Tool Goes Crazy

I've been using Elements 2.0 for a long time and love it, however, recently, my crop tool is not working right.

The crop box, trails the crop diamond, quite a bit. Meaning, the box is slowly moving in the upper left of the picture while the crop diamond is down in the middle lower part of the picture and it does not track correctly.

I know, I can upgrade, which I did, to 7, but didn't like it, although the crop function worked ok on it, I went back to 2, but can't get my crop tool to work right.

Any ideas?

Not sure at all but do you have it on 'no restriction' or is restricted to 5x7 or 8x10 or something?
Can you still grab the crop box and move it?

This is crazy. I don't know what I did, but now it is working again.

The crop diamond would move ahead of the crop box and seperate and not follow proportionately. Now it does again.

Sorry I can't describe it better, but it is working.

I tried working in Ele 7 and just don't like it at all.
