    playing with cs5

    thought I would show some of the good stuff with cs5 and delete tool with content aware. this edit took me 5 minutes to do. its not perfect but it works very well.

    Thanks for posting this, Dustin.

    Looking closely (actually, not even that closely) one can see that there is some distortion where the garbage can and fence were. This isn't good, but like you said it only took 5 minutes, and there is probably other clean up things you can do.

    I've played with this some too now, and for a quick job, it's pretty awesome. I don't think it will eliminate the need for cloning, but I especially like the content aware fill function in the spot healing brush. I also played around with the hdr function, which was impressive. CS4's hdr rendering was a joke, and I've been using photomatix since my interest in hdr, but CS5 may have gotten it right. This of course is based of playing with one image for about 5 minutes...I'm sure photomatix will keep it's place for a good chunk of my tone mapping.

    Guy, can you post a few more with context fill, "Before" and "After"? Would be good for people on the fence.

    Also, some befores and afters with HDRs would be a great additional thread.
