    Photoshop CC + Lightroom 5

...a good deal at <£9 time limited offer until tomorrow.

Is this likely to result in price hike after 1t year?

Undoubtedly, otherwise they'd be out of business
I'd almost be tempted at that price, except they were hacked.
Though if they implemented better security as a result ...

To my knowledge, we really haven't had anyone on this forum report back yet on how the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) thing is going. So if you do decided to try it, please let us know. Right now they are still on PS CS 6, so there is no difference w/ what people like me have purchased, but Adobe says that the next version will not be available for purchase or update, only via monthly or yearly leasing via the CC.

Still undecided but I see that Adobe have extended this price until the end of the year.

I signed up yesterday. The download to my PC took a long time and I wound up on chat with tech support for a good hour. But it's loaded and ready. It went on my Mac Book much quicker.
Heck I pay $100.00 a year on Lightroom upgrades as it is. If I get PS CC and Lightroom 5 I think it's a bargain. There are also several other apps that go with it.

That is a good way to look at it, Greg. I do the same, so for only ~$20/year can get CC too! Not a bad deal. What are the other apps that you get?

I went for it. My version of LR was obsolete and I was using CS4. The best thing is I have it on my PC and MacBook. If they do have a huge price increase next year I'll just go back to CS4. For me it's worth the $120 a year to delve in.

I joined the ranks of Greg and Jeta, and downloaded the programs this afternoon. Downloading PS took a long time, but LR5 went fast. So other that figuring out what is new, I am up and running with upgraded software.
