For Mac users...

The prices in the brand new Mac app store have plummeted. For example

Aperture: $80
Pixelmator: $30
iPhoto: $15
iMovie $15

I wonder if they're doing that because a new version is imminent?

Part of the reason is the lack of costs to Apple to sell & deliver the product. Only way to get it from the store is via download.

But all of these were downloads before, no physical media unless you requested it (at extra cost)!
