    Lighting room Help!

anyone know how to make adobe lighting room not open when you connect a device to it, like when i put my memory cards in my laptop slot lighting room opens, and half of the time i just want to see if the shots where good or not.

In the Windows version of Lightroom (not Lighting Room) from the Library Module type Ctrl , - that is the Control key plus the comma to bring up the Preferences Dialog menus. The Preferences Dialog can also be found as a pull down menu item on the top bar of the Lightroom under Edit.
    then
Go to the General tab along the top and click on it.
    then
there are check boxes under the Import Options section and one is labeled:
Show import dialog when a memory card is detected.
    Uncheck this box!

Be sure to upgrade to LR 3.2 as it makes quite a difference in certain performance issues that popped up in the new version.
