    Elements and ACR...

    Does Adobe Camera Raw run as a separate program hosted by Elements like it does with Bridge or Photoshop? - TF

    It's been ages since I've used Elements, but when I did it ran ACR as a plug-in, same as Photoshop. Adobe intentionally designed the ACR plug-in as a modular unit so that it could be frequently updated without having to update the entire package. I looked around the web since you've posted this, and I can't find anything that would indicate that this has changed.
