    cropping photos
This is aimed at wedding photographers but could be for anyone who offers a cd/dvd for the customer to print their own photos. Being that you don't know exactly what size photo a couple would want, what size do you crop your photos too?? Or do you crop them to what looks best to you?

I'm not a wedding photographer, but if you think they may print from the photos, I have found in general that providing custom crops (or prints) drives other people crazy because then they have to order and buy custom mats and frames, which can be expensive :o

The question also arises as to whether odd-ratio crops make a different with images for the internet?

Not a wedding photog, but I do portraits and tons of action. Everything is cropped to 4x6 with wiggle room. So far so good with people ordering and printing other sizes.

The only ones I will do custom crops for are group photos with text. Those are usually 5x7 and 8x10's.
