    Re: Best photo editing software?

My shoots consist of weddings, portraits and sports. Lightroom saves me at least 1/2 the time on post. The only time I really finding myself using PS is when I do a commercial shoot with HDR.

    Re: Best photo editing software?

I've always said that for every purpose there is a perfect tool, so
first of all you (we) need to understand the final goal of choice.
If it is total editing control - it's obvious (for me) Photoshop, but, if you cannot afford it - check this article
If you need "less control" in photo - it's Lightroom or its free analogue Darktable
Then, Collaging - it can be done via Photoshop, or another suitable software like Collage Maker .
And yes, it's actually a lot easier for anyone to look for any software or another question personally.
    Best wishes

Best one and Professional is Adobe Photoshop but its quite difficult for newbies and if want to go with easy one then go for acdsee or picasa they are newbie friendly, hope it helps.
Photography is all about experimentation and without it you will never learn art.
