Looks like Adobe is coming out with a way to customize the UI of Photoshop CS4. Looks kind of interesting. Here is a video demo.

This is another 'freebie' from ADOBE that is an illustration of what can be done via the SDK.

Already in CS4 there is a lot more customization available The two main versions (different components) are illustrations of that functionality.

Perhaps this will open up a lot more developers to producing different front end using the ADOBE 'engines'.

As I know from work, it takes a lot of work from the developer's perspective to make a recomposable program, so I can appreciate what they're doing here...
