    This is one of my favorite things I have done recently. I was trying to convey my feelings of solitude and loneliness. It's like I am the only thing around for miles. It is for me a metaphor for the separation of my girlfriend and myself.

    Almo, I'm almost embarrassed to look at your photo. It's such an intimate shot. I immediately put together the idea of solitude and aloneness in this world so your point came across. Perhaps a sky that isn't so alive and beautiful woud work better to show depression. I'm sorry you have those feelings.

    I like that and I think the sky makes it particularly striking. Reminds me very much of some of Bill Brandt's work.
