September Project??

Excuse me if I just didn’t look enough but I didn’t see any thing about the September Project. Can someone link me to that thread or let me know what it is?

The projects don't show up until sometime after the previous project.
I think the 'selected photo' contributor is supposed to pick but it seems random.

We're still in August. There is still time for you to join in the August project here "Cars"
Getting members to choose the project didn't work out as well as I had hoped so it's back to me choosing the themes.
I will announce September's project when September starts.

Thanks guys! I think I might have been self-confused when I read the rule thread. I thought I read somewhere that the theme for the next month would be said in advanced. I’m aiming to put something up for this but I don’t know if I will make it in time! we’ll see.

You aren't confused - you read the introduction correctly. Just for clarification, the letter is outdated a bit - Presently Alison is the moderator who is choosing the monthly projects and she has been posting the announcement on the first day of the new month. Welcome! and hope to see you posting this month!
