LOL...I love this one. Cats sure have a way of doing crazy things.

Excellent portrait masdog. Groups aren't all that easy to do. You have done a fantastic job with exposure, colours and clarity. WTG!

I remember this shot. This is when he fell asleep on his toy box! I love this shot.
You have a big family. My hat's off to you. We have a 23 month old boy and he is a handful.
It must be a burden to be loved by so many.... :p

A couple of 'formal' portraits:p
Tucker and Lucky were being unusually cooperative.
Re: May Photo Project: Portraits
Thank you Manacsa :)
Having lots of children has given me ALOT of practise in portraiture lol.
It's very tiring but very rewarding.
I took a few of my oldest daughter today but I haven't worked on them yet. Not that they need much work. The odd little rotate, spots removed that sort of thing...watch this space :)

Alison,
Some photographers spend thousands of dollars on studio lighting equipment with expensive light altering gadgets and don't even come close to achieving the quality of portrait you produce with window light and... a ceiling light bulb. That's amazing. Go girl!
Re: May Photo Project: Portraits
WillCAD - lol. That's funny. But they do look slightly different. I would still love to get a twin shot.
freedom - wow! thank you so much. What a lovely compliment.
I have studio lights, but it's such a pain getting them out and putting them away all the time. Plus having Tungsten's with 2 babies running around isn't really safe.
I had my 430EX ready and waiting just in case I needed to use it, fortunately I didn't need to ;)
I prefer natural lighting to be honest.
I also have a backdrop stand but I clamped my black bg to a set of bunk beds for these shots lol.
You just have to make the best of what you have. I just show that it is possible to work with the minimum as long as you know what your doing ;)
That's another reason why I post my info. I feel it might help people learn that they don't need all the fancy shmancy equipment that they think they might need. (Like I did when I started shooting portraits).
