As luck would have it I stepped into the backyard yesterday afternoon after coming home from work. It had just rained and things were a little beaten down this one lone iris did survive.

first are forget me nots
second are wild geraniums that some consider weeds because they'll take over but they're easy to control and I'm partial to tiny flowers so they have a place in my little garden.

Got out between rain showers yesterday and captured a few. The flower pickings in my area are still pretty thin.

Couple more shots from the flowers at the hotel where I work. Sorry, have no idea what type of flowers they are :o

Some different looks at a little weed.

OK since Roger broke the ice with his dandy puff I feel safe posting mine now. Well It use to be a flower just to prove it I'll also post a relative. I'll call the two together Yesterday and Tomorrow. I'll throw in two that I posted over in the N&W forum as well.

The flowers around my house are pretty limited so here is another shot of some bleeding hearts. We did notice a few tulips had sprung up over the weekend, so hopefully I can get some shots of those.

Some lilacs and something i'm not sure what it is. Thats about all I can find aroun the yard so far.

here is my effort! I am not a botanist so I have no idea what it is called.

A couple more from the flowers at work. Trying my hand at some macro this time.

This one appeared in its "pure" form in the critique forum. This is my "print" version - Ortonised and framed. It's called Bluebells and Leaves.
