Thanks. As for the colours, I agree. I've been toying with it a bit. Thats the RAW file. Well, JPEG of the RAW. I put together an edited image with some filters on alpha channels and stuff. The colours stand out a lot more on it, but its very artistic versus photographic......

Real nice set Julie. I really like the glowing green hill and the subtle colors in the last one.

LOL that's hilarious Loupey! Nice find.
I've seen a hat in a tree down the town but never gave that a thought to photograph.

Re: March Project: Found Still Life

There used to be a shoe tree off the old A40 on the way to London.
Over a hundred shoes in the tree, hurled up like that.
But it blew down in the gales.

I really should have photographed it, but it's one of the things I drive by and think "next time" or "when it's sunny" or "I'm in a hurry today" - and regret later

I'm glad that shot made you smile.

SmartWombat - I hear ya - years back our local university had a "shoe tree" as well. I never made the effort to find it though

I saw another hanging pair over our always-busy outerbelt. Don't know how that person was able to do that and I don't know how to shoot that one.

Re: March Project: Found Still Life

What about a very old found still life, I mean 1780 (white horse) combined with 1845 (the tower) feature. Or is this just a landscape and doesn't fit?
