Julie your versatility with the camera is really amazing me. Here I thought you were a sports shooter. You are really nailing this months theme. I truly enjoyed your images and take on the theme.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Ok. I think we are hitting the groove!

I was just starting to worry that this theme was too narrow and uninteresting. But, there is nice stuff coming in. Very nice. I look forward to the rest of the month....

Well, missed the exposure a tad on the one I mentioned earlier in this thread but, here's a print from tonight that I thought might fit.

Thanks OS! That tool stand is in my son's shop in West Texas. He works as a farrier and blacksmith. He has recently started a knife making business to go along with his horse shoeing.

Thanks OldSchool. No processing done on the computer. This is a scan of the print. It did need a fair bit of dodging and burning though and I still think it needs a bit more work. I may give it another go next printing session but, I have so many negatives I want to try playing with

OK, take 2. We had an actual blizzard yesterday (well we missed one criteria - didn't exceed the 35mph winds criteria - for Ohio that's still a blizzard).

Maybe these are too literal. I have the hardest time post processing these types of images

    Hey Loupey,

I really like the snow shots. The 3rd is a find! Snow is tough to get the exposure right. I think you nailed it. I also like the toning. Thumbs up.

I call these "A Work in Progress". And no, I don't mean my photography skills. We are constantly working on our house, so there is usually a pile of tools/paint/wood/etc laying around.
