Just to confirm, it DOES NOT have to be a portrait. It can be anything window light related

Nope not all the time. 9 times out of 10 I use window light only. If I use a reflector I usually say so.

I would give some more examples but most of my window light shots are portraits.
I better get taking some new ones of different things.

Ok. So it's kind of a portrait I guess (sorry). Here's my son on a train ride
And a shot of the toothbrushes on my bathroom window sill.

I didn't mean it that you use reflectors all the time ... sorry if it sounded that way ...

It's ok Ben don't worry. I had a go with my gold reflector yesterday although it was totally outdoors so I can't post it in here

Here's one of my favorite subjects Ollie. Can be found most days on the back of the couch looking out the window. He was nice enough to let me takes some pics of him again today. Here's one I liked a lot because of the reflection in on his eye.

This is the baby who won the January project "The colors!"

He's the reason I have a camera...I might have been inspired by someone else that uses a 50mm prime

    Thank you so much r_w.
I can't believe how many people I have inspired to get that lens and to start doing window light photographs.

The light is actually from the late afternoon sun coming through the window to the other side of the room. The 2nd one is a crop.

My god-child on her first holy communion day. She was sitting in the car waiting to go to the church. I took it from outside - and cloned out the door handle.
