Here is another contribution to this months project. First white lily we've had this season. This is a transplanted Easter lily we brought home from church a couple of years ago and is still giving us pleasure.

Thanks Alison. I was pleased with this as well. I used the Nikkor 105mm f2.8 macro with a 36mm ext tube and added a little light with the SB800. Everything was set to manuel and I was hand holding. A real balanceing act, but it allowed me to shoot at 1/200 at f22. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks. BTW, the bee eventually crawled all the way into the core of the flower. Very interesting.

My wife tells me we have a tulip tree in the back yard. After 20 yrs in the same place, you'd think I'd have noticed by now.:mad2:

So Far, for most of May and most of June, we have had dull overcast skies, showers and sometimes, gale force winds. My Camera has not been out in three weeks, either its far too wet, or there is not enough light. Sigh..

I hate British Summers, please can I come back to Florida some time soon?

Here are mine! These are Evening Primrose. They've been the bane of my existence for the past two years. I guess I didn't think that, when they were described as invasive, that that meant they are INVASIVE!! But ain't they pretty?
