Greg - Excellent choice for the project forum. I think it's a good idea for a couple of reasons - first, it's original and creative. Secondly, I think posting Christmas photos is much more fun when they appear in our "living room" - Viewfinder. Just my opinion!
Here is mine. I've always loved this photo. This is a shot of the two taller steeples at St. Patrick Cathedral in NYC which is totally in the sun. The building in the back is totally in the shade - actually in the "shadows" of other larger buildings during the late afternoon.
No shadows here at this time of year, just fog and rain. But I have a few interesting shadow images from summer time. This first one is shadows cast on the back of curtains by morning sun.
These next two are the shadow of lace curtains cast across the ceiling by reflected afternoon sun.
Here is a little sidelines shadow fun form a couple of weeks ago.
