Re: December Project: Playing with Light
I don't have anything new that fits this project so I'll post something old - really old.
One of my first shots with my first SLR (1983) and also one of the first images I posted when I joined this forum.
A flashlight on a string.

Loupey, this must be your garden snakes in a mating ritual... :D
Nice one!

Hope this one isn't *too* racy for the theme :blush2:

Oh boy.... Not today.... Our pool equipment burst and I worked outside all day with the pool guy. We may have tens of thousands of dollars in damage. I'm just sick about it, but grateful it's a thing and not a person.
Sorry you asked? LOLOL
Re: December Project: Playing with Light
Sorry to hear that Jeta, i hope things get back to normal around here soon.

That's a great shot Alison! I bet it would do well as a stock photo.

Ha! Not at ISO 1600. They expect alot from you, only to pay you about 30p per download.
Thank you anyway Canuck :D
Re: December Project: Playing with Light
Ive never seen a heart filter before! Surely that must classify as a "girly filter" :D
Great shot, Alison!

Re: December Project: Playing with Light
I love playing with elements of light, but alas I haven't had time to go out and get the shots I want so far, so here are a few older ones before the month gets away from me.

OK, maybe I'm taking the project title too literally here... :p
Shot last night after a holiday portrait session of the kids with our new puppy. Disclaimer: holiday lights are not toys and should be kept out of reach of pets and children. No one was injured in the making of this image :)
Re: December Project: Playing with Light
I've been following this thread and really enjoying the contributions. I've also been playing with light, in that I'm trying to learn how to better use light in my pics.
Primarily window light

Re: December Project: Playing with Light
I thought I'd posted to let everyone know I'm seeing so many good shots in here that I might have to get around to giving it a try.
Loupey, you should be able to make a small fortune selling that photo to greeting card companies.
Re: December Project: Playing with Light
