December Project: Playing with Light

I don't have anything new that fits this project so I'll post something old - really old.

One of my first shots with my first SLR (1983) and also one of the first images I posted when I joined this forum.

A flashlight on a string.

Oh boy.... Not today.... Our pool equipment burst and I worked outside all day with the pool guy. We may have tens of thousands of dollars in damage. I'm just sick about it, but grateful it's a thing and not a person.:thumbsup:

I love playing with elements of light, but alas I haven't had time to go out and get the shots I want so far, so here are a few older ones before the month gets away from me.

OK, maybe I'm taking the project title too literally here... :p

Shot last night after a holiday portrait session of the kids with our new puppy. Disclaimer: holiday lights are not toys and should be kept out of reach of pets and children. No one was injured in the making of this image :)

I've been following this thread and really enjoying the contributions. I've also been playing with light, in that I'm trying to learn how to better use light in my pics.
