Call for May

If no one else wants to call a project does anyone object to me calling it? What do y'all think about flowers? Since April showers bring them, you in?:)

Greg - works for me! I think Spring has finally arrived in New Jersey - it took a LONG while for the robins to appear this year! They're finally showing up - two at a time.....just like Noah's Ark! :D

I'll be posting as soon as I can find some defrosted flowers! :thumbsup:

I haven't taken any flower shots for a while, but I will try to find some "defrosted" flowers this week......in the meantime, here are a couple of oldies.

I shot this especially for the flower towering above all the rest near the top of the window.

It took a few takes to get it. I used the 50-200mm and every little bit of wind caused blur.

It seems it's always the way. I don't notice the breeze until I want to do some close up or macro work. maybe I should stick to rocks! :)

This cold spring hasn't allowed very many flowers to bloom in my neck of the woods yet, so I'm posting a couple from my Arizona trip last month.

The sun came out and the magnolia bloomed.

I seem to have gotten the bug for shooting flowers. Here are some from Sunday afternoon, the GF and I went out and shot for a while. Sandy was using her new extension tube she got on Saturday.
Armando I tried to get the black background like in your shot, came close.
