viewing my digital images on computer

    I have a canon 30D
When I load my images on to my desktop the images are dark, green or red.
Viewing them on our laptop the images look fine. I have spent hours on the phone with HP and they cannot seem to help.
I have had those same images that look dark or red printed and they look nothing like what is dislayed on my desktop.

Sounds like your monitor is out of calibration.

They have walked me through calibrating my monitor and nothing has changed.

I was so bumed. I took pictures at my 1 yr olds B-day. Looked at them on the computer and started touching them up thinking it was my fault but when I had them printed they were not even half as bad as the monitor showed

I usually goto my pictures and just view them.
When I open them in anything they are still dark or awful coloring. I have tried to edit them and come to find out that I don't really need to since they printed fine through walgreens..
I have opened them in Corel and photoshop
