Can anyone recomend a good, easy to use, inexpensive program for making DVD slide shows on a PC? Something that will automatically set the duration of each pic to the length of music playing in the BG, and that makes "creative" transitions between photos. I have a program (WinDVD-something or other) that came with my laptop, but it sucks. Perhaps this program will do all this, but I can't figure out how...
I made a DVD slide show with it this week. It took hours to get all the pics and transistions between pics loaded. The slideshow consists of about 500 photos, and I had to put the transitions between each and every photo. Very time consuming. I set the slideshow to music also, but the program doesn't time the images to the song. You can set the duration of each image, to get the pics to stop at the end of a song, but it's takes forever and you have to change each pic individually. After about 5 or 6 hours of putting everything together, I burned the DVD last night. That took another 6 hours or so. I put the DVD in this morning, other than the horizontals getting cut off just a bit on the right and left, they look fine. The music, well, that's another story. It jumps and skips and is just really anoying. Any suggestions?
