Hello Everyone,
I'm in the process of setting up my home studio. At this time I have the following:

1. Nikon D40X

2. Computerwith USB cable.

What I'm trying to do is find some good software so when I take a photo, it shows up on the computer, so that customer can see there photo right away.

Can anyone tell me what software I need to make this happen.

Windows has a built in viewer if you shoot jpeg, you should see them as you load them. If you shoot RAW you will need another program like Adobe Lightroom. You can get a card reader and put the card on the computer. I am not sure if you are wanting them to see instant results after each shot.

If you are shooting raw, you can also get the windows power toy raw thumbnail viewer.
If not, just use your computers photo viewer after loading.

Sounds like you're working in a studio?
Do you want only the most recent photo to be displayed ?

All the solutions mentioned so far are not automatic, they just enable you to see the photo.
They don't even send the photo to the computer automatically.

I see there's something called Nikon Capture Camera Control that will bypass the memory card and store the image directly on your computer.
Not only that but it also has options to display the image with Multi Image Window, view it in Nikon View, show it with the Nikon View Browser, or Import it into Picture Project.

CAUTION: I just googled this, you need a Nikon expert to tell if it's right for what you want.
