    Scanning Ektachrome

    Hello,

Can anyone recommend a scanner or scanners that work well with ektachrome? I typically use E100VS, E100GX, and E100G. As I keep going through reviews of different dedicated slide scanners, there is usually a mention of issues when trying to scan this type of film. Any recommendations please?

    Thanks,
    Wayne

Can't imagine you'd have a problem with any decent film scanner with those films. I have an Acer (now Benq) 2720s which is a pretty cheap film scanner (old SCSI type) and even it does a pretty good job with them. The driver is no where near as good as some of the newer scanners, and doesn't have digital ICE. I don't do alot of film scanning anymore but if I did I'd probably replace it with a Nikon Coolscan V.
