Refillable Cartridge for Canon PIXMA Pro series?

I have found this Refillable cartridge set for my Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 mark II.
    The link: http://cgi.ebay.com/CISS-CIS-Canon-P...item3cabf551f0
Does any body here have any info on how reliable these cartridges are? Is it worth it buying it?

    Thanks!

Re: Refillable Cartridge for Canon PIXMA Pro series?

I don't have experience with those cartridges specifically, but I'm a little leery of refillable cartridges after some bad experiences with them on an HP b9180, pigment printer. I know dye based ink systems are a bit more tolerant, and the HP was known to have plenty of it's own issues with printheads, etc... But...

I'd be curious to see if anyone else has some replies for you. I just picked up one of these printers for cheap as the market seems flooded with them thanks to big rebates from Canon right now. Would be good to know how the non-oem inks stack up...

Re: Refillable Cartridge for Canon PIXMA Pro series?

I just bought the pro 9000 as well, from what I understand the third party inks can clog nozzles and don't produce as fine detail or accurate color. Then, maybe thats just some inks and some nozzles, (pigment, all-in-one cartridges, etc). I'm also now curious if there is a third party option for ink, not neccesarily a continuous supply, but maybe something I could inject the ink into. Photo quality is obviously top priority though.
