hey newbie here,
i know this is probably a basic task to most of you but i was hoping that someone could tell me how to resize images taken from a digital camera down to 62.5kbs on a computer preferably using software thats free over the net if possible. i need to take pictures of myself for an online application form. If you are using Windows XP, the free photo editor that comes with X can resize images easily (as well as lots of other stuff). If you want something else, the Gimp is OK for simple tasks, also free.
