Help with raw in cs

I have a Nikon D70s and whenever I open my raw files there is only a small screen that you can only change the white balance and exposure on. My friend has the exact same program but he has a very detailed raw editing program in it. Any suggestions as to how to get this in my cs.

Have you done updates from Adobe to get the newest version of the RAW plugin ?

Yes but where do I put it once i download it. I know it goes in the plug-in folder but there are multiple folders inside that one. Thank you.

Put it into the file fomats folder

I had the same thing happen with Nikon View and Photoshop CS. The NEF files saw View as the default program for opening them. I removed the program and everything was fine. I'm guessing that the window that you're seeing is not part of Photoshop.

I am pretty sure its a photoshop window that pops up. I tried putting it in the file formats file and still the same thing happens. Thanks for your suggestions so far guys.

I didn't save a screen shot of it, but I'm not so sure that the window I was talking about said Nikon or Photoshop or anything on it. It did only have basic adjustments and it was totally different than the converter that's part of CS.

I usually work with a Fuji S2 and have none of their software installed, so I was used to seeing the Photoshop screen come up. One day I tried out RAW on my Coolpix and a screen like you mention came up - I knew it was very different and figured out that it was the Nikon screen.
