eye dropper not working in CS2

Hey...i was tryin to retouch some pictures for my girlfriend right. Then i noticed some of them the white balance was off...so i wanted to do a quick white balance correction. (all shots done in her canon p/s, all photos are already in JPEG) Usually i duplicate the layer, and go to hue/saturation. But the 3 eyedroppers greyed out so i cannot click it.

Whats the problem....how do i fix it?

thanks for the look and any help.
    Lightroom is my Darkroom...Hahaa.
