I just purchased a printer (HP Photosmart) and am thrilled with the quality of prints I get when printing direclty from the card in the printer slot. However, when I download a picture to my pc and print it it is awful. It is very grainey or blurry with a significant loss to detail.

Any ideas why this would happen or how to fix it.

P.S it doesn't matter if I print it from the Cannon software that came wtih the camera or Photoshop.
