    Zoo Flower

    This was taken at a Zoo in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Backlit by the p.m. sun, handhead shot with a Minolta Dimage Z1, iso 200. moderogram

    I'm sure you will get plenty of more technical commentary, but on a purely visual note I like the way the background in this shot builds up a dark green backdrop for the bright green stem, giving it an almost monochromatic feel. I think think it also makes the yellow flower a more special feature than it would be if the bg was any other color.

    i like the composure everything about it the lighting is nice but, like someone has told me what dose this picture tell a story of? what dose it show?

    I went with a feeling for the shot, that is, it felt right for the moment,. I went for the visual .
