I really like this...it seems like something's about to happen...It feels like it could be out of a Tom Robbins book..or something. I Think it's' great.

Thanks, i was a bit skeptical about my level of creativity on this one. More feedback would be MUCH appreciated!

    thanks,

P.S. I love the compliments, but does anyone see anything i could do better or improve on? Or any specific thing you really liked about the photo?

Different. It's size is a plus. The black and white makes one focus on the subject. But personally, I think it would have been better w/o the human fingers in the shot. Just the cold, metalic device... That would do it! But if you had to have the human element, I think it would have been better if there was a flame coming out. Not sure if there is one here and I just can't see it - ?

Great idea, and a pretty good shot.... i'm just guessing how many times yo had to do it over and over again...LOL...

One thing i would do with the fingers, since obviously that was the only way for you at the time to tilt the zippo, is to have the thumb on top of the "wheel-thingy-that-hits-the-flint" as if the zippo was about to be lit....

Oh and I don't get what the cloth is at the bottom right!? i just don't see how it adds to the image?

Otherwise, very nice idea... i love those shots... you could always get some putty rubber to hold the zippo anyway you like... i think they got some in black! Whould get rid of the fingers and make your life somewhat easier...

    Cheers... Marc

I agree about the shirt in the lower portion of the picture. But other than that I like it. It somehow reminds me of a cop or detective from a very old movie. Seems like they were always pulling out their trusty Zippo, I am with GB the size makes it work, but the fingers seem fine to me.
