    Zagreb

Another one that I'm not sure about, a hit or miss. What do you think?

Edit: better yet, how do you upload pics from the gallery? I can't see it yet.

I'm trying! :O not very intuitive.

There are elements I love about this shot, and those I don't care for. I agree that it is hit or miss, depending on the viewer. I very much like the leading lines and the repetition of the posts along the walkway. I don't like the fact that your eye slams broadside into a van at the end of the street. I'm also not crazy about the overhead billboard, top left. While it introduces new color, it seems too straight when compared to all the other angular elements elsewhere.

You know what I like about this shot ---- it reminds me of the scene in the movies right before the chase scene starts --- the calm before the storm, ya know? It serves a purpose as a prelude, in my imagination.

The exposure, colour, dof and focus are great, but the composition is a bit static, with the eye being held in the middle of the photo by the gutter and the van at the end, The lit window in the left foreground is distracting and doesn't add to the picture either. I think the photo would have been better if you'd moved more to one side or other of the road so as to get some stronger diagonals and cut out the lit window.

Leels I like it, very compelling and as Penny states the calm before the storm, well done. S
